This is What We Do

Altos has been recognised by industry publications, such as The Spirits Business, for its focus on sustainable practices and the work we do in our distillery. We compost 1,700 tonnes of waste, have reduced water consumption by 16.45%, and have achieved a 97% recycling rate for our solid waste. Altos’ mission is to produce tequila of the highest quality while caring for the planet at the same time.

For us, a business must always have a human element: we need to be sustainable as a brand, in our processes, and in our lives. Sustainability is not just about reducing waste or repurposing our rubbish; it is a way of life that requires both small and large, but always meaningful, changes in our day-to-day lives.

Altos is produced using a blend of traditional and modern processes, with the aim of helping to preserve the land and build a future for generations to come.
