Eco-design involves integrating sustainable practices into the design and development of products and packaging to minimise environmental impact throughout the product’s life cycle.

A product’s life cycle includes its design, production, distribution, use, and disposal. Considering ways to reduce the environmental footprint at each stage is essential to protecting our planet.

In 2018, Altos’ iconic bottle was redesigned to reduce its glass weight by 20%. By making the bottle slightly smaller and thinner, without affecting its tequila volume, we achieved a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions.
