Founded in 2009 by Altos’ co-creators Dre Masso and Henry Besant, Tahona Society is a global Altos Tequila community aimed to improve the lives of bartenders and foster positive change within the industry through three main pillars.
Tahona Society Competition:
At the core of Tahona Society’s commitment to sustainability lies the annual Tahona Society Competition. Which more than a contest, challenges bartenders globally to elevate their craft and contribute to a sustainable industry through the development of sustainability projects.
This competition promotes knowledge dissemination, innovation, and collective action for a brighter future.
Henry Besant Scholarship:
Scholarship that looks to support the educational dreams of bar professionals, exemplified by the inspiring story of Adrián López from Mexico, who received financial assistance to pursue his passion for studying English in an English-speaking country.
Wellness content & initiatives:
Mental health community hub, that addresses different issues such as depression, anxiety, and addictions through.
